The Program Coordinator of Student Enrollment will lead programs to enroll and retain students for our undergraduate and graduate programs. As a member of a team in which students are placed at the center of all that we do, the Program Coordinator of Student Enrollment will work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to plan, strategize, and implement programs to impact enrollment targets and priorities for all programs.

The Program Coordinator of Student Enrollment will work in tandem with the recruitment, admission, and retention Program Coordinators/Directors and the Marketing team to implement recruitment and retention programs. They are responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of recruitment, admission, and retention programs for on campus and online programs, focusing on enrolling students who are a best fit for our programs.

Job Overview
Plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate programs for a department or college.

Essential Functions

  • Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or programs.
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives.
  • Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants.
  • Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments.
  • May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time

 

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience
One (1) year of program coordination experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Prefer university student services experience.
  • Microsoft Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc.).
  • Detail-oriented, able to develop and maintain highly organized work environment, and able to effectively prioritize.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in making solid business decisions, problem-solving, and multi-tasking in a highly dynamic and fast paced business environment.
  • Proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Proven ability to set priorities and work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Record of creative and innovative problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence, flexibility as well as poise, confidence, and the ability to interface with clients and co-workers at all levels in the organization in a professional, approachable, and positive manner.
