Job Description

HCC is seeking qualified instructors for our Summer Youth Camps. Camp season begins on June 21, 2021, and continues through August 20, 2021. Camp descriptions can be found online at www.harford.edu/campcuriosity. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing camp curriculum; coordinating daily operations and safety procedures of camp; maintaining supply inventory; communicating effectively with campers, camp staff and parents/guardians; implementing COVID-19 response procedures including enhanced cleaning, physical distancing and face coverings; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Online Art Camp Weeks:

  • Week of June 21 (ages 6-10): Crafty Creations (10:00-11:00 a.m.)
  • Week of June 21 (ages 11-13): Drawing Characters (1:00-2:00 p.m.)
  • Week of June 28 (ages 6-10): Art Explorers (10:00-11:00 a.m.)
  • Week of July 6 (ages 6-10): DIY Instruments (10:00-11:00 a.m.)
  • Week of July 6 (ages 11-13): Abstract Drawing (1:00-2:00 p.m.)
  • Week of July 19 (ages 6-10): Crafty Creations (10:00-11:00 a.m.)
  • Week of August 9 (ages 6-10): Friendship Bracelets (10:00-11:00 a.m.)
  • Week of August 9 (ages 11-13): Illustrating with Pen & Ink (1:00-2:00 p.m.)

Instructors are required to attend employee training, to be scheduled the week of June 14, 2021.
