Job Description
Work and learn with Dr. Fry in the nuclear physics and detector lab. Will learn techniques of particle detection, data processing and analysis, and electronics. Primary goal is to construct and characterize a Sodium Iodine detector array NaI(TI) for use in fundamental precision measurements of neutron-nucleus interactions. Involves collaboration with multiple institutions, including University of Kentucky and Indiana University. Student will learn to work in a collaborative environment. Position required Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021.
