Associate in Discipline Position in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research
The Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia Engineering invites applications for an Associate in Discipline position starting in the 2019-20 academic year or earlier. Associates in Discipline are full-time non-tenure-track faculty members who meet a need for instruction in specialized fields. The Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Department is committed to hiring outstanding teachers to support the growing needs of its exceptionally strong undergraduate and MS programs. The IEOR department promotes a culture of innovation and experimentation in teaching including blended and online learning environments.
We seek candidates with teaching interests in Analytics. Candidates must hold a PhD or its professional equivalent in Operations Research, Financial Mathematics, or related disciplines. Since this is a teaching position, applicants must have excellent teaching credentials and communication skills. Experience with blended and online learning is a plus.
