Job Description

This position supports the YMCA’s mission by serving the community through youth programming as part of Child Watch, Kids’ Night Out, Child Care before and after school, and other youth programs. Youth workers provide competent childcare including but not limited to: homework support, supervised playtime, and planning, implementing, and evaluating recreation activities. Youth workers work as a team to ensure safety by working with parents and children to instill YMCA Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty.
