Job Description
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for an IT Network Support Specialist. The IT Network Specialist should be an experienced Network Specialist with prior work experience in a Higher Education environment who works on the design, maintenance, and management of the University’s global enterprise network systems. The position involves receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving network and technical support requests from clients in a timely manner. The job also involves talking to clients on the telephone, communicating via email and chat, and servicing clients’ onsite and in-person, while working in a busy (sometimes high pressure) support environment. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to enjoy working with people and have excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
