Job Description
The Department of Political Science at the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 16, 2021. We seek a colleague with research and teaching expertise in global public policy and political economy. The successful candidate will serve as a core member of the Department’s NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA) faculty and teach in the MPA program, contributing to our new focused area of study Global Affairs & Security. In addition, the hire will offer courses appropriate for students majoring in Economics and Political Science. Interest in contributing to the Department’s graduate quantitative methods course sequence will be looked upon favorably.
