The College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama (UA) announces an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Center for Youth Development and Intervention (“the CYDI”). This position will be academically housed within the Department of Psychology or in the Department of Communicative Disorders. We seek a research-focused applied scientist with expertise in implementation science. The ideal candidate will have an active program of research related to the translation and implementation of interventions and the promise of securing external funding. We want applicants who are enthusiastic about collaborating with researchers from other disciplines and working in multi-disciplinary teams. A doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Developmental, Experimental. Counseling, Educational), Communication Science and Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology, or other relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Public Health) is required.
