GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The overall purpose of this position is to assist with daily operations of the lab school, which includes assisting the Program Director, additional staff, and families; as well as providing support for the faculty of the Child Studies and Education program, as time allows. This position receives direction from the Program Director, Child Studies and Education, and the Assistant Facility Director, Child Development Center; and exercises no supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting. At least minimal environment controls to assure health and comfort.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: More than one year of professional experience in a clerical environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Professional or secretarial experience in an education, church, or social work setting.
