The Grant Coordinator will report directly to the Title III Project Director.

The Grant Coordinator will have an essential role in supporting Title III project implementation, assist in maintaining accurate records of performance, and prepare budget and progress reports.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare documents and reports related to tracking of student outcomes and performance
  • Prepare data briefs related to grant outcomes
  • Assist with data projects that support student success initiatives (e.g., DFW analysis)
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and prepare budget reports
  • Coordinate student engagement events
  • Build rapport and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Improve the efficiency and accuracy of tracking grant objectives
  • Consult on design and implementation of evaluation for Title III and retention activity initiatives
  • Maintain close coordination and collaboration with individual departments/schools
  • Participate fully within the university community, provide consultation, training, and outreach to students, faculty, and staff when necessary
  • Stay abreast of changing institutional information including new programs, course changes, important dates, costs, and updates in university-wide initiatives and polices
  • Other duties as requested

  • Successfully resolve student issues from request through resolution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years’ experience with successful grant writing or generating reports
  • Fluency in MS office (Word, Excel)
  • 3+ years of experience with educational or office technologies
  • Willingness to collaborate with diverse departments and college constituents
  • Experience with Google tools and website design preferred
  • Budget management preferred
  • Ability to gather and understand statistical data
