Job Description
This position is a tenure-track Special Education faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate Special Education courses in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction as well as effectively conduct practicum and student teaching supervision responsibilities. Some teaching off campus at regional extension sites and/or by other distance education methods may be required. In addition, the candidate will advise undergraduate and graduate students. The candidate will be expected to
engage in scholarly activity, and provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
Minimum Qualifications Doctorate in Special Education. ABD considered. Desired Qualifications Experience with clinical supervision; ability to teach early childhood special education, deaf and hard of hearing, learning disabilities, and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities courses.
