The School of Education at Wichita State University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in graduate and undergraduate Teacher Education including general methods, diversity education, foundations, research methods, special education, early childhood education, ESOL, reading, and subject area methods. Most of these courses will be taught online so applicants may reside in any location. Manage course content online; communicate regularly with students and other instructors via Zoom, email, Blackboard, etc.; and hold “office hours” 2-3 times per week.
Adjunct faculty hired will become vital members of the School with programs including the nationally recognized Teacher Apprentice Program (TAP). Screening of applications is ongoing and will continue each term until positions are filled. Courses may be 16 or 8 weeks; Teacher Apprentice Program (TAP) Ccourses begin every 8 weeks (2 “blocks” for each semester).
