As part of Indiana State University’s inclusive excellence commitment as well as the Bayh College of Education and the Department of Educational Leadership’s diversity initiatives, we are launching a unique fellowship program for doctoral candidates (coursework completed and working on a dissertation/thesis). The vision is to conduct a search among institutions similar to Indiana State University in the Midwest or contiguous states and hire a K-12 doctoral candidate from an underrepresented background who is seeking a career at an institution where teaching quality, university service, as well as multiple forms of scholarship are emphasized and encouraged. Upon completion of the terminal degree the fellowship may convert to a faculty line. The Fellowship will begin 2020-2021 with a three year contract.
