DESCRIPTION
Otterbein University is in search of a Coordinator, Experiential Learning and Off-Campus Study, who is responsible for supporting students and faculty through executing our off-campus study and immersive experience programming. This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. They will report to the assistant director of experiences in student success and career development.

QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's degree is required. Master's Degree preferred. At least 2 years experience working with undergraduate students in advising or student support capacity. Preferred experience supporting international programs or study abroad.
DESIRABLE: Extensive international study and/or living experience. Study abroad program development and management. Independent critical thinking and problem solving skills. Experience advising students on Study Abroad programs and general knowledge of the Otterbein curriculum. A demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: N/A
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication skills. Must be fluent in both written and spoken English; excellent grammar skills are required. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Excellent mathematical skills.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Excellent computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proficiency in shared file storage (Such as Google Drive) and database management.
REASONING ABILITY: Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to perform under pressure to deal with a variety of situations. Must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision. Must be well organized and possess attention to detail. Must exercise a high level of initiative and have the ability to prioritize. Must be a team player.
