Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) invites applications for the part-time, remote position of Clinical Course Mentor (Veterinarian). The mentor plays an essential academic role, supporting fourth-year veterinary students during clinical rotations. This opportunity allows experienced veterinary professionals to shape future clinicians while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Virtually oversee 8 DVM students per rotation

Provide daily guidance, feedback, and mentorship (~2–4 hrs/day)

Evaluate clinical case logs, professionalism, and growth

Participate in continuous improvement of the LMU-CVM clinical curriculum

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Required: DVM/VMD degree or equivalent; excellent communication and mentoring skills; ability to work independently and remotely

Preferred: Specialty board certification (ACVS, ACVIM, etc.), particularly for specialty rotation mentors
