The position is designed as a temporary training level position. This position trains to become a Production Assistant to assist cooks in hot food production from an established pre-printed menu and standardized recipes. Responsible for quality, quantity and appearance of foods prepared. Additionally, cross-train and perform duties in all areas of the operation. This is a transitional position to a trained Dining Services II - Production Assistant if desired by the employee and recommended by the supervisor: a performance assessment will be done at 6 months and the position would be eligible to advance after the 6-month training period.
Note to Applicants: This posting will be filling two positions with different work schedules. One position will work Monday - Friday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm and the second position will work Tuesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
