Primary functions will include understory forest clearing with mulching heads, and blading/crowning gravel trails on tracked skid steers and/or dozers respectively. Other tasks will include but are not limited to general land management activities, like placing small culverts, cutting/trimming trees with saws, mowing small parcels of grasslands, and chipping downed foliage.
Operator must demonstrate proficiency with skid steer. Other heavy equipment may also be utilized with potentially less frequency, such as 10 to 25 ton dump trucks, dozers, motor graders, front-in loaders, vibratory compactors, scrapers, forestry mowers (FECON), track hoes, agricultural tractors, and back hoes for the purpose of completing LRAM projects.
