Temporary Postdoctoral Fellow positions may become available throughout the year in the Analytical Resources Core. Annual terms and reappointment depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.
ISS – The Center for Imaging and Surface Science
• Tiered Options for Installing microscopes and surface measuring tools
• Electron, optical, and atomic force imaging (e.g., SEM, TEM, confocal); spectroscopic analysis (e.g., energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy); surface characterization (profilometer, contact angle goniometer)
• Undergraduate professional internship and graduate research assistant opportunities
• Full service or collaborative
MMA – The Center for Materials and Molecular Analysis
• Spectroscopic, spectrometric, X-ray and other materials characterization of synthetic, environmental and biological materials, both at the bulk and molecular scale.
• Digital and in-person training opportunities on majority of instruments for self-use and for classroom learning
• Undergraduate professional internship and graduate research assistant opportunities
BIO – The Center for Bioanalysis and Omics
• Enzymes and reagents Stockroom
• Nontargeted Metabolomics, Proteomics, Ionomics services
• Targeted Quantitative assays – existing and custom development, small molecules, peptides, metals
• Supporting sample preparation, experimental design, data analysis and informatics
• Full service or collaborative
