The Honors Program at Colorado State University seeks applications throughout the year from individuals who are interested in a non-tenure track assignment. Applications will be reviewed when a vacancy occurs.
Instructors are hired on a part-time basis each semester which is determined by departmental instructor need, student enrollment numbers.
CSU Honors instructors teach interdisciplinary Honors seminars as part of the Honors core curriculum. The Honors seminar sections range between 19 and 22 students and the small class size creates an optimal learning environment for students and faculty alike. Each Honors seminar integrates several All-University Core Curriculum requirements such as Written Communication, Historical Perspectives, Arts/Humanities, Social/Behavioral Sciences, and Global and Cultural Awareness.
