Job Description
Researchers in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado are looking for group education facilitators for a grant-funded clinical trial with the aim of promoting healthy aging strategies among older adults. The Group Facilitators will be responsible for delivering a research-supported educational program focused on healthy aging to small groups of community members ranging in age from 45 to 75 years. Applicants need to have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree and experience with public speaking, education, personnel training, or group leadership. This is a part-time position with a time commitment of about 10-15 hours per week. Given that the clinical trial will last about 4 years, it is also preferred if interested individuals can make a longer-term commitment. Group facilitators will go through a structured training program and a certification process in order to implement the education program according to the guidelines required by a scientific clinical trial.
