The IT Specialist for Business Services reports to the LSC Associate Executive Director of Business Services. Working as a member of the LSCIT, this position oversees daily operations and system administration of point-of-sale, ERP and business systems deployed throughout retail environments supported by LSCIT. Primary responsibilities for commerce systems support rest in LSC Dining Services which leverages a cloud-based food service dining POS platform distributed across 13 retail establishments on the CSU campus, and in the CSU Bookstore which leverages a retail merchandise POS (hybrid cloud/on-premises) platform deployed across 32 registers in multiple locations across the CSU campus and northern Colorado. Combined, these units gross over $20m annually. This position is primarily responsible for commerce systems technology and manages all aspects of the hardware and software support lifecycle, and related services such as IT security and project leadership. This position also assists in managing the LSCIT help desk and provides operational support for the technology systems deployed throughout the LSC, and those other departments within the DSA that receive support from LSCIT.
