LC State invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Business, Management & Operations.
Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $59,440
Degree Required: Master's of Business Administration or related degree from a regionally accredited college or university (terminal degree preferred)
Required Qualifications:
Experience and education needed to teach business, management, and operations courses
Preferred Qualifications:
DBA, PhD in Management, or related degree from a regionally accredited college or university
College-level teaching experience preferred
Quality online instructional experience
Collegiality within a team environment
Ability to work independently
Perform effectively under pressure and with deadlines
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities are teaching Financial Management, Production Operations Management, and other management-related courses, as well as accounting principles courses. This position is responsible for teaching a 12-hour course load per semester, advising students, program development, outcomes assessment, scholarly activities, and service to the division and college.
Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students. Start date is August 2025.
