Department-wide efforts to increase digital capabilities are underway. We currently have three whole slide scanners, an archive of over 600,000 whole-slide images, and plans to onboard a new image management system with artificial intelligence capabilities in the next year.
The Associate Chair for Digital and Computational Pathology will report directly to the Department Chair and will oversee digital and computational pathology initiatives at CHOP.
