HEALTH POLICY AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH
The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is recruiting tenure-track faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of health services research, health policy, or health outcomes.
The University of Rochester is well known for its excellent collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. Ample opportunities in research, educational, and community-based programs are available in the department as well as through the Aging Institute, Center for Surgical Health Outcomes & Reaching for Equity (SHORE), Wilmot Cancer Institute, the Del Monte Neuroscience Institute, and the Center for Community Health & Prevention, amongst others.
The successful candidate is expected to attract and maintain extramural research support, demonstrate excellence in teaching and mentoring in the extensive training programs in the Department and University, and expand research partnerships within the university and community. All applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Health Services Research (PhD, ScD, MD or equivalent) or in a closely related field with a strong emphasis on research design and methods, and with expertise in health policy, payment reforms, outcomes assessment, and/or cost-effectiveness analysis. Applicants should have an established record of peer-reviewed publications, and a demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding.

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
