UPLIFT Videographer

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in written and/or verbal form
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to professionally represent the program/department
  • Ability to work with clients (students, employees, public) via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, phone calls, and/or emails
  • As needed, ability to work independently or as a team member team
  • Ability to be organized



License/Certification Required


Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with the program coordinator to develop filming schedules for various locations.
  • Prepare for filming assignments by familiarizing yourself with the location. (Program coordinator will provide you with information about the locations, owner/manager requests, vision and objectives for the videos, potential storyboards for shots/sequences, etc.)
  • Travel to designated locations and collaborate in real-time with businesses/organizations during filming to ensure that their preferences and desired content are effectively captured.
  • Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the storytelling and visual appeal of the promotional videos.
  • Capture high-quality footage that aligns with the businesses' vision and highlights the unique features, products, and services of each location.
  • Ensure proper lighting, sound, and composition to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
  • After filming, submit the raw footage to the program coordinator for editing and post-production. UPLIFT will handle the editing process.

  • Interest in videography, filming, photography and media.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in real-time with diverse community members and businesses.



Work Schedule/Hours: Completely flexible.
