Assistant Professor in Peer Support and Implementation Science - Clinician Educator Track

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of peer support models and the mechanisms by which they effect change, family peer support models, implementation science, and evidence-based assessment and treatment of pediatric anxiety and related disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. License eligibility in the state of PA, PsyPACT membership, and certification to supervise family peer specialists.

Teaching responsibilities may include clinical supervision to trainees providing clinical services within the Pediatric Anxiety Treatment Center at Hall Mercer (PATCH).

Clinical responsibilities may include overseeing the development and implementation of a newly launched family peer support program for families of anxious youth in Philadelphia. In addition, the psychologist may conduct diagnostic evaluations and carry a small clinical caseload of cases seen within the PATCH program.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leading evaluation of the newly launched family peer support program and will be supported to develop an independent program of research at the intersection of peer support and implementation science to increase access to and engagement with evidence-based practices for historically marginalized and minoritized populations.
