Job Description Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator-B/C will be responsible for coordinating research activities associated with multiple clinical research studies for the Functional and Metabolic Imaging Group within the Department of Radiology, and in close coordination with Temple University Hospital. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruiting, screening and consenting subjects at both UPenn and Temple through direct patient interaction either in the clinic or via phone, scheduling research subjects' visits, monitoring patients throughout their time on the study, data collection, entry and management, as well as processing data queries. Additionally, the Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and maintaining regulatory documentation associated with each study, facilitating and participating in monitoring and audit visits, developing and submitting IRB protocols, interacting directly with IND sponsors, and serving as the main point of contact with various regulatory bodies throughout the university.

Clinical Research Coordinator B (CRC-B):
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinator B: A Bachelor's Degree, training as a Research Coordinator and 2-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. ACRP/SOCRA certification is preferred. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Science, Premed/Nursing or Psychology major preferred. Experience with medical imaging studies and a general familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting are highly desirable.
Clinical Research Coordinator C (CRC-C):
In addition to the duties listed above, the CRC-C will operate with limited daily supervision from the lab PI and Project Manager, will take the lead in drafting and submitting regulatory paperwork to the IRB and other relevant bodies, and may supervise other lab members in clinical study-related activities.
Effective problem-solving abilities; effective communication and writing skills; strong organizational and time management skills; flexible and able to multi-task; strong attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently; knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations.
Coordinator C: A Bachelor's Degree, training as a Research Coordinator and 4-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. ACRP/SOCRA certification is preferred. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Science, Premed/Nursing or Psychology major preferred. Experience with medical imaging studies and a general familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting are highly desirable. Familiarity with REDCap and Epic environments.
