|Position Title:||Adjunct Instructor 1 - Automotive Engineering|

|Summary of Position:||Teach AAS degree level coursework in the College of Engineering Technology. Depending on qualifications, subjects taught could include manual drivelines, brakes, electrical, engines, steering and suspension, electronic fuel management, chassis electrical, automatic transmissions, heating ventilation and air conditioning, service area or automotive machining. A focus on student success is expected. Office hours are required with at least one hour for each class taught. Use of current technology is expected.|

|Required Education:||B.S. in Automotive Technology, education with an Automotive emphasis or similar emphasis or equivalent coursework and/or experience.|
|Required Work Experience:||Minimum of three years experience in Automotive Service, Automotive Education, or closely related field.|
|Required Licenses and Certifications:||ASE certified in areas taught.|
|Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:|
|Duties/Responsibilities:||Teach Auto Service courses.
Responsible for teaching Auto Service course objectives according to established guidelines.
Ability to use Microsoft Office, Mitchel on Demand and All Data.
