As a key member of a collaborative team, you will design, deliver, and assess faculty-focused professional learning programs that enhance pedagogy and integrate advanced technologies-especially AI-driven solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of teaching and learning by leading initiatives that empower faculty across disciplines and instructional modalities.
Under the supervision of the Director of Teaching Effectiveness and Fellowship, the Program Director - Faculty Educational Developer provides leadership for designing, delivering, and assessing faculty-focused professional learning programming and advanced technological solutions grounded in robust pedagogical foundations at UVU. As part of a collaborative team, the role of this position is to research, promote, and implement emerging teaching and learning technologies, with a particular emphasis on AI-driven solutions, to enhance innovative and effective pedagogy. The Faculty Educational Developer advances teaching and learning at UVU by spearheading the development of resources and initiating programs focused on the scholarship and practice of effective teaching practices that engage all learners, across all disciplines and instructional modalities.
