Description
A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking applications for part-time non-exempt adjunct faculty on the Mesa, Arizona campus. Adjunct Endodontics positions are filled on an as-needed basis and will work in the main clinic on Mondays and/or Thursdays.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor students in the Endodontic clinic and general clinic.
- Communicate and direct students as they work through dental treatment plans.
- Work with students chairside in Endo clinic cleaning and shaping and obturating cases.
- Work on the main clinic floor helping with diagnosis, placing posts, and doing pulpotomies.
Education & Experience:
- DDS or DMD required.
- Must be board-eligible or certified in Endodontics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong mentoring, be comfortable working in a University setting educating students.
