Associate Director of Veteran Services

GRCC invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Veteran Services reporting to the Registrar in the Student Records/Registrar's Office. This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Veterans Services operations, including training and compliance with Veteran Affairs regulations and benefits programs, supervising the school certifying official, student veteran recruitment, communication plans, and the Veterans Center (VC). This individual is responsible for monitoring student veteran success rates and responding to service needs through the leadership of the Veterans Success Team in collaboration with other college departments. Under the direction of the Registrar, this individual will complete all the steps necessary to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for the Veterans Affairs Agency and annual reporting fees. Veterans Services at GRCC is compliant with the VA Principles of Excellence program and strives to the gold-level standard of Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency veteran friendly schools to ensure student veteran success.
