The Warrior Community seeks a full time faculty member for the College of Arts and Sciences. This is a tenure track 9-month position and will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses which support life science and engineering programs and includes developing and teaching courses in Organic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. The position includes teaching four courses per semester, advising students, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the Institution's Strategic Plan. Additional duties include maintaining chemical storage and waste disposal, designing and revising program curricula, delivering effective courses to meet learning outcomes, holding office hours, fulfilling service and professional development requirements, advising and fostering relationships with students, and actively participating in student recruitment and retention.

The successful candidate will work closely with other programs to teach courses in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, General Chemistry and other courses as needed in the future. This is a tenure-track, 9-month position teaching in face-to-face and online course delivery. This faculty position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The preferred faculty member will hold an earned doctorate in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field with research experience in chemistry or a closely related field. College-level teaching experience is required. Candidates with a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and with College-level teaching experience will be considered. Faculty rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience.
