Job Description
The Ohio State University College of Nursing invites applicants for a part-time or full-time faculty appointment for candidates with advanced practice specialization as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provider. We are seeking faculty committed to excellence in teaching, practice, and service. Faculty with research and/or scholarship expertise are also encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month clinical track or associated track faculty position.
The candidate’s appointment and rank will be determined by their qualifications and experience. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, this faculty member will join a dynamic team of CRNA faculty. They will play a key role in collaborating with clinical sites and preceptors to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students. Responsibilities include orienting and evaluating preceptors, as well as teaching clinical courses and meeting the specialty track needs of the nurse anesthesia track. The program is delivered online, with clinical placements primarily across Ohio.
Preferred and Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a doctorate degree in nursing and national certification as a CRNA. They must have at least two years of practice as a CRNA and current Ohio advanced practice nursing license (or be license eligible). Ideal candidates would also have two years of recent teaching experience in a graduate nursing program or experience teaching in a clinical setting.
