Essential Functions

The Department of Kinesiology is seeking applications for a fixed-term track faculty position at the rank of a Lecturer, beginning in Spring 2025. A successful candidate will contribute to strengthen the deprtment's teaching capacity by teaching courses and labs, as well as mentoring teaching assistants. candidates. The University is situated in a vibrant and growning community, serving a broad and dynamic community that reflects the rich variety of backgrounds, experiences, andperspectives in our student body. While continuing its tradition of excellence in teaching and community service, UTSA is rapidly moving toward classification as the doctoral/research institution.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Kinesiology or related area,.
  • Experience in teaching various courses and labs related to Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, and/or Fitness & Performance.
  • Excellent communications skills; ability to learn and use UTSA applications (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard, Camtasia, etc.).
