The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering seeks outstanding applicants for tenure-track or tenured positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. Individuals with exceptional promise for, or a proven record of research achievement who will excel in teaching undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
We welcome applicants from all areas of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. This includes applicants in areas at the intersection of Engineering and Human Health (e.g. biomaterials, protein engineering, drug delivery) as part of a broader strategic initiative across Engineering at Penn.

Penn provides tremendous opportunities for research both within and across academic units and schools, including the School of Arts and Science, and the School of Medicine. The close proximity of all of Penn's schools and research centers enables seamless collaboration.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
At the Assistant Professor level, individuals should demonstrate excellent academic credentials and promise for impact in research in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. At the Associate and Full Professor ranks, a strong demonstrated track record of research excellence including successful competitive research funding and academic standing is expected.
A commitment to teaching should also be apparent including development of undergraduate and graduate courses, supervision of doctoral students, and academic advising of students at all levels.
