Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dean of Enrollment Management is responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating enrollment plans and strategies to meet the annual enrollment goals of the college. The Dean manages all aspects of enrollment; including conducting data analysis to inform recruitment strategies, coordinating the enrollment team, developing comprehensive communications plans, and working with financial aid to leverage merit and need-based financial aid packages. The Dean will provide expertise in technology tools and systems, such as Colleague, and communication platforms. Oversees the Admission and Outreach/International Student Services/Campus Central unit; Registration; and Records. Directs all operational, administrative, and financial activities. Enhances and cultivates an environment that promotes a creative and positive interaction and relation with other college units, students, parents, contributors, the higher education community, and the general public. The Dean reports to the Assistant Provost of Student Affairs.
Provides leadership in the review and execution of the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan. Effectively collaborates with college leadership staff to implement priorities identified in a SEM plan, provides regular updates on progress toward stated goals utilizing clear metrics that indicate progress toward targeted outcomes.Creates and implements strategic yearly recruitment and enrollment plans utilizing data and best practices to meet conversion and enrollment goals.Collaborates with the SEM team to compile and analyze trends in institutional, regional, and national data for the prospect-to-enrollee admissions funnel.Direct, manage, evaluate and hire administrative leaders and staff members that report to the Dean. Ensures that directors and managers are providing appropriate training, supervision, professional development and evaluation to their individual direct reports.Collaborates with marketing on campaigns, communications and web presence ideas. Leads the team in reviewing on and off- campus recruitment, conversion data, and events.Serves as reviewer in the adoption of communication, and technology tools. Serves as the primary point of contact for various vendors and service providers utilized by the Enrollment Management team.Reviews and develops policy and procedures for the areas of responsibility and communicates them to the college community. Develops partnerships, funding resources and collaborations to assist particular student populations that may need additional support to achieve academic success.Create strategies for the accomplishment of assigned responsibilities, develops both short and long-term goals and objectives for the unit.Develops budgets, monitor division spending and approve expenditures according to annual spending plans.Establish, implement and evaluate goals and objectives for areas of responsibility.Other duties as assigned.
