Program Manager for Fashion FUNdamentals: A STEM Enrichment Program for Middle School Students in the Department of Design and Merchandising (DM) in the College of Health and Human Sciences. This is a 3-year, 12-month, half time Administration Professional position, with the possibility that the position may be extended beyond 3 years. Administrative (50%) The administrative role of the program manager assumes responsibility for numerous tasks related to the operation of Fashion FUNdamentals. Responsibilities/tasks of this position include organizational and planning activities, such as recruiting participants (e.g., development of program application materials, school visits, etc.); The program manager also will be responsible for procuring program materials and professional services; managing program evaluation; updating website content and design, and supporting procurement of grants. Participant Support (50%) The Program manager will support participants in the Fashion FUNdamentals program by managing the participant enrollment process; developing technical and social programming content unit schedules; supporting delivery and development of technical programming; and developing daily schedules for participants, student employees and volunteers.
