Position Summary:
This tenure-track assistant professor will teach a five-course load (15 credits) in finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The faculty member will demonstrate expertise in finance, with the ability to deliver high-quality and innovative courses in both traditional classroom and online environments. This position also entails engaging in scholarship and creative activities, contributing to academic discourse through impactful journal articles and intellectual contributions, and staying abreast of industry trends. Additionally, the faculty member will play a vital role in advising students, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional development. Active involvement in both outreach and extension activities to foster connections with professional organizations and the business community is expected, as well as service and leadership contributions to the department, college, and university. We seek a dynamic individual who can inspire students, advance academic knowledge, and contribute to the growth and success of our institution. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in finance or related field.
  • Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in finance.
  • An active scholarship agenda for peer-reviewed journal publications.




Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance and other areas of finance.
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Published scholarly articles in quality journals and a commitment to ongoing intellectual contributions.
  • Familiarity with financial market resources such as Bloomberg and Morningstar.
