The Business Economics and Public Policy Department of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate level. The Department encompasses microeconomics fields and participates in teaching undergraduate and MBA business economics. The Department also offers a PhD in Applied Economics. The appointment is expected to begin July 1, 2025.

Qualifications
Excellence in research and teaching are the primary criteria for selection. Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution (expected completion by June 30, 2026 is acceptable).

Candidates must also include contact information for three references who will be asked to submit letters of recommendation.
We encourage early submission of applications as they will be reviewed until our deadline of November 15, 2024. Department representatives will be conducting first round interviews of prospective candidates in mid-December via Zoom.
