Job Description

The College Business seeks a qualified Assistant Professor to teach Entrepreneurship and Management. This is a nine month, tenure-track position available beginning Spring 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Teach three courses in Entrepreneurship and Marketing area, at undergraduate and graduate level per semester (mode of delivery may be a mixture of face-to-face and/or online). Graduate courses are offered on weekends and evenings during the week.
• Produce high quality peer reviewed research publications. Present research at national and regional academic conferences.
• Serve on college and university committees as assigned. Engage in student advising. Serve the university and professional community.

Required Education & Experience:

• Ph. D. in Entrepreneurship or Management/Marketing or equivalent with an interest in teaching and research in Entrepreneurship.
• ABDs in Entrepreneurship, Management/Marketing, or equivalent programs in the final stages of completion will also be considered.
• Experience in teaching Entrepreneurship courses at College/University level is expected.
• The ability to teach HR, OB, and Business Strategy for Management Ph.D. candidates or Retail Management, Sales Management, etc. for Marketing Ph.D. candidates will be desired.
• Demonstrated ability to produce intellectual publications is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph. D. in Entrepreneurship is preferred, but a terminal degree in Management/Marketing or equivalent with 2 to 3 years of experience in teaching some Entrepreneurship courses at College/University level will be preferred.
• A research portfolio with peer reviewed journal articles and an established future research agenda.
• The ability to write successful research grants will be preferred.
