Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $71,500.00-$94,000.00 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Compensation Manager works closely with the Vice President and Director of the Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for developing and leading Johnson County Community College's (JCCC) compensation program and initiatives. The Compensation Manager provides strategic input to the development of compensation policies and practices, offers compensation advice and support, and conducts internal and external pay analysis. The role also ensures that JCCC's compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finances and/or related field.
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in human resources, business administration, finances and/or related field.
7+ years experience in compensation.
Certified Human Resources Professional Designation (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP).
Experience with Ellucian/Banner HRIS system.
Experience working in a higher education environment.
