Assistant/Associate Professor, Psychology (PsyD)

Job Description Summary:
The University of La Verne's PsyD program in Clinical Psychology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position to begin with the 2024-2025 academic year. The position is core faculty in our APA-accredited PsyD program in clinical psychology.

Specific Duties:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology;
  • Completion of, or presently in process of completing an APA-accredited doctoral program and APA-accredited internship;
  • Demonstrated teaching experience.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training or expertise in at least one of the following areas: assessment, biological bases of behavior, consultation, evidence-based practice, human development/lifespan;
  • Completed, or presently in the process of completing, post-doctoral hours towards licensure;
  • Applicants who have obtained licensure as a Psychologist;
  • Applicants with graduate teaching experience.
