Position Summary
JOB SUMMARY:

Essential Job Functions: Reporting to the Executive Director of Admission, the Admission Operations Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Serve in an administrative role for the Undergraduate and Graduate Admission Slate instances.
2. Collaborate with Executive Director of Admission and Admission Operations team to support projects in both Undergraduate and Graduate instances of Slate.
3. Liaise with multiple campus departments relative to general admission and enrollment operations, ensuring data flow integrity between admissions CRM and other campus systems and providing a positive admission and enrollment experience for prospective students.
4. Exhibit a strong understanding of the recruiting and enrollment processes, exercising discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of data integrity and the enrollment funnel.
5. Monitor daily automated data imports/exports and general admission email account.
6. Support Executive Director of Admission by providing data and assisting with admission decision releases.
7. Provide data and tools to better help counselors manage territories to admission team; assist in training counselors on Slate processes.
8. Prepare, process, and upload admission-related documents.
9. Support Marketing and Communications in building queries for communications, managing populations, and providing data relevant to marketing initiatives.
10. Ensure accuracy and data integrity by performing regular comprehensive data auditing and cleanup.
11. Manage user permissions of accounts across the institution and vendors.
12. Maintain knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Division of Enrollment Management, admission practices, and the University.
13. Other duties as assigned

Tier Structure: This position is hybrid (Tier 2) with half time in office and half working remotely.


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

Education level: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.

Skills/Requirements of the Job: 1 to 2 years of experience working in a similar capacity within higher education or another related industry/position.

Computer skills: Knowledge of Slate by Technolutions (enrollment management software) and MS Professional software package is preferred but not required.

Workday: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. There will be occasional evening and weekend work during specific times of the year.
