Researchers in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University are looking for a Postdoctoral fellow to conduct research studies examining executive function, cognition, and communication in children and adolescents with Down syndrome. The postdoc position will involve oversight of federally funded research projects, interactions with collaborating sites, direct assessment of participants, supervising research associates, and dissemination of knowledge through publications and presentations. Opportunities for this position include: (i) involvement in research on development in neurogenetic disorders; (ii) training and supervision in lab management; (iii) mentorship from expert multi-disciplinary collaborators in the fields of psychology and human development; and (iv) encouragement and mentorship in the preparation of manuscripts for publication, scholarly presentations, and other aspects of academic scholarship.
