Job Description

A Wildlife Biologist position is available with Colorado State University (CSU) and the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML), and will conduct work at Travis Air Force Base, California. This position creates maps, and supports projects listed in the Integrated Natural Resources Management plan such as conducting field surveys, assisting with the preparation of permits and similar documents, contributing to the development of plans, and preparing documents for the public, other employees, and military personnel. Travis Air Force Base (TAFB) is a United States Air Force Base under the operational control of the Air Mobility Command and is located three miles (5 km) east of the central business district of Fairfield, in Solano County, California, 50 miles northeast of San Francisco and 40 miles southwest of Sacramento. TAFB is situated on approximately 5,137 acres and is midway between the coastal zone and the interior valley of California.
