Job Summary

The position requires a highly collaborative leader with a proven track record of enhancing academic quality, leadership excellence, and student success in a dynamic higher education environment. The Career Connected Learning Assessment Coordinator assists with developing and executing the assessment program and collaborates with members of the entire Career Connected Learning Community including campus operations, instructional team members, and prospective and current students.

  • Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently, and work within strict deadlines.

  • Must be results oriented in addition to having strong cross-collaborative skills and the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and constituents, both internal and external to the college.

  • Knowledge of theory related to learning modalities and pedagogies.

  • Ability to effectively aggregate and interpret data, apply mandated policies and procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Knowledge of best practices in assessment.

  • Demonstrate an ability to work closely with professional organizations.

 

Physical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Official transcripts required.

  • Current and valid Texas driver’s license required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists the assessment manager with the execution of the assessment strategy and contributes to the continuous improvement of assessment across Career Connected Learning

  • Serves as a point of contact for matters pertaining to program assessment process and activities.

  • Assists the Managers and Directors of Career Connected Learning and Workforce Education to provide seamless support of all assessment processes.

  • Works closely with faculty and faculty leadership on ensuring that faculty are informed about assessment processes.

  • Supports the summarizing of findings, the writing of reports, and presenting of results to administration and other internal/external stakeholders.

  • Serves on College taskforces, committees, and councils as required.

  • Other duties may be assigned to this position on a regular or occasional basis to respond to needs of the institution.

  • Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
