This Postdoctoral Fellow will consolidate one of the major research objectives of Dr. Perera’s laboratory focused on the identification of metabolic biomarkers of viral infection in the human host and mosquito vectors. She/He/They will conduct advanced research on this topic, handle the day-to-day supervision and training of students and Research Associates as well as some of the management and administrative aspects (decision making, reports, grant/fellowship application and publication writing, etc) of this program. The successful candidate will also possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge of standard computing and statistical applications, and the ability to work productively as a member of a large and diverse research team.
