The course investigates the origins and diversity of life and how organisms interact with each other and their environment.Section C | 1:20 p.m. - 3:50 p.m., Tuesdays | On-CampusSection E | 1:20 p.m. - 3:50 p.m., Thursdays | On-CampusTerm: Fall 2024 (September 5 - December 17)Qualifications: A degree in biology or related field. A graduate degree (M. S. or Ph.D.) preferred. Official transcripts due upon hire.
BIO212L | Microbiology for the Health Sciences - LaboratoryCourse: Laboratory component for BIO212. This course examines the fundamentals of microbiology (structure, metabolism, genetics, and growth) and surveys the microbial world. The interaction between microbe and host and the diseases caused by microbes is examined.
Section B: 1:20 p.m. - 4:10 p.m. | Wednesdays | On-Campus
Term: Fall 2024 (September 5 - December 17)Qualifications: A degree in microbiology or related field. A graduate degree (M. S. or Ph.D.) preferred. Official transcripts due upon hire.

Course: BIO220L | Genetics - LaboratoryCourse: Laboratory component for BIO220. Laboratory periods will give students hands-on experience in several techniques used in modern genetic research.Section B | 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Mondays | On-CampusTerm: Fall 2024 (September 5 - December 17)Qualifications: A degree in genetics or related field. A graduate degree (M. S. or Ph.D.) preferred. Official transcripts due upon hire.

The College: The College of Arts and Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments - Communication and Sociology; Computational and Physical Sciences; English, Modern Languages and Philosophy; History, Political Sciences and Religious Studies; Life Sciences; and Visual and Performing Arts.
