Salary Range: $40,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions

Lecturer will teach 4 sections per semester of a freshman level common course, Academic Introduction and Strategies. This course is designed to help students transition to college and is taught to clusters of students grouped by academic majors. Faculty will teach a blend of courses geared to students in their area of expertise (STEM education) and undeclared students. Summer teaching may be available.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM-related field required.
  • Experience in STEM education or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Teaching experience at an institution of higher education and demonstrated high levels of teaching performance as indicated by a formal review.

Working Condition
