Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate can teach all levels of photography to both program majors and non-majors including; Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom Classic and digital asset management, editing, and digital printing, with an understanding of industry qualifications and expectations.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Photography is required.
  • Master's or MFA's in Photography is preferred.
  • Maintenance of an active knowledge of current practices that affect the discipline of photography is preferred.
  • Fluency in the ethical standards and principals particular to the field of photography is preferred.
  • Teaching assignments may include a variety of delivery modes, such as face-to-face, hybrid and/or blended formats during days, evenings and weekends.

Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
